2008 Football Schedules: St. Joseph Flashes

The St. Johns Sun will release local 2008 high school football schedules as they become available. Today we turn our attention to St. Joseph Academy.     

Three years ago the St. Joseph Academy Flashes (7-3) were on top of the world with their first playoff appearance since the 1970's. The Flashes followed that season up with a 9-1 season and back-to-back playoff appearances.  

St. Joseph looked to make it three in a row  this past season but struggled to a 4-6 season ending the streak.

The Flashes will look to restart their streak again as the 2008 season soon begins.

St. Joseph released their 2008 schedule this weekend and for many fans it shoud look quite familar. The schedule is the same as the 2007 season excepts flip flops home and away sites.

Back on the schedule again is non-district games with Eagle' View, Bishop Snyder, St. Johns Country Day, Pierson Taylor, Bronson, Bell and the season ender with arch-rival Florida Deaf. 

District games that will decide their playoff fate include games against University Christian, Providence and two time state runnerup Tallahasee North Florida Christian.
