Esplanade
Does anyone in this blog has any idea about the status of the "Esplanade" shopping mall at the World Golf Village? I heard rumors that the project was "dead," but I read a while ago that the project was just on hold until financing for road improvements comes through. The Devlin Group still has the "Esplanade" as one of its projects, and so does Ben Cater's properties. (http://www.bencarterproperties.com/properties_development.html)

Josy, The construction you saw is another shopping mall. That one is called Lion's Gates, and should be up and running by December of 2009. The Esplanade will be East of I-95, but I don't know exactly where.

I don't know the status of that new mall. I had even forgot the name. Esplanade. I like it. Does anyone know the location? I live near WGV, but not right there. I was down there this past weekend and could see construction, road improvements off of International Golf Pkwy. I hope it works out and arrives as schedule.
