Guests Can Still Experience Festival of Lights through January 3, 2009 

Valdosta, GA- Wild Adventures Theme Park has added additional operating days to the 2008 park season.  Guests will still be able to enjoy over a million lights throughout the park as well as the Living Nativity, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and Santa’s live reindeer.  2008 Passport holders will be able to enjoy the park’s Christmas festival as well as all the attractions through January 3.   

We would like to praise the terrific Christmas gift certificate offer of the fantastic opportunity to rescue a puppy or dog from the St. Johns County Pet Center.  GOOD DOG! – DOG TRAINING, has gift certificates to compliment that event.  A gift certificate for puppy or dog training is the perfect size, perfect color! Remember, if you don’t have the time or patience to deal with puppy antics and house training, consider an older dog.  They have probably been through enough stress, and need the love, safety and warmth of a loving family and forever home too! GOOD DOG! has ALWAYS offered a discount for the training of rescues.  It is our way of helping create that bond of a lifetime.  Our wish is to ensure a mutually trusting and respectful relationship with that special pet, so they won’t be returned. This year, if you are giving a gift certificate for a new pet, include one for their training.  For your convenience we offer training in St.

Sure, who wouldn't love to see the expression on a kid's face Christmas morning when a new puppy comes tumbling out of the pile of gifts!

Let's face it; Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are probably the two most hectic days of the year.  Most of us are pretty stressed out by that time.  Adding a spanky, new, energetic puppy to the mix, may not be the best idea for you or the puppy.

It’s Bigger, Better, Brighter than Ever Before! 

Valdosta, GA- It’s a bigger, better, brighter Christmas season this year as Wild Adventures Park unwraps it’s new Festival of Lights holiday celebration, Saturday, November 15.   

More than A MILLION sparkling lights welcome visitors to the theme park, creating a holiday glow families will not soon forget. Plus, there are all new holiday shows, new holiday foods, a one-of-a-kind live nativity, great gift shopping and jolly St. Nick’s favorite reindeer.   

The St. Johns Sun held its annual holiday luncheon today — Editor Kevin Clark treated the entire staff to a meal at Beef O'Brady's. I had the fish and chips.

The staff has shrunk somewhat from last year, and so has the office budget, but we weren't at Beef O'Brady's because Kevin wouldn't foot the bill for someplace fancy, we were there because it's where we wanted to be (and because Shannon's is no longer open for lunch). Fortunately for us, the holiday lunch is still an approved expense (or else Kevin generously dug into his own pocket — not unheard of).
